On September 21st, 2006, with the assistance of Ginny Collins and Pam Curry of Wystar Cavaliers, Wystar Sweet Redemption (Demi) produced the first Daisylane litter of two boys and two girls (two rubies and two black & tans, one of each sex).  All healthy, squirmy and hungry.   Demi took motherhood very seriously, just like she takes everything in life.  Denzil, the proud father was completely devoted to Demi, making sure she looked her best by constantly cleaning her face when she would take a break from the kids.

This was an exceptional breeding with two grand-parents over the age of 5 and heart clear, four great-grandparents in the health registry (over the age of 5 and heart clear), a grand-father who was heart clear until the age of 11 and several great-grandparents who exceeded the age of 15 years.  Plus both lines achieved conformation and performance titles.

During the pups growth, we let them experience several different ground types, so they did not mind walking on different surfaces.  They loved to play with the agility wobble board (a little see-saw) and the mouse tunnel (a fabric cat tunnel with open arm holes).   They visited agility class, obedience class, canine eye clinic and a final health check at our regular veterinary hospital.  They were well exposed to noises, people and other dogs.

Demi's kids, pictured to the right, are as follows:

  • Daisylane Man On Fire aka Hugo (ruby boy)
Hugo went to live with Elizabeth, Matt and Jack Worchester in Chicago, Illinois.  The excited Worchester family fell in love with Hugo, especially when they found out that he knew how to play bubbles which was a favorite game of their other cavalier.  You can visit the Worchester's at the family web site http://hep.uchicago.edu/%7Eseturner/personal.html

  • Daisylane Blame It On Rio aka Molly (black & tan girl)
Molly went to live across the water in Connecticut with Christine and Rob Irwin.  They visited Molly when she was about 7 weeks old and just feel in love with this little sweet girl.   They tell me she loves to run around the yard at top speed in circles.

  • Daisylane Galaxy Déjà Vu aka Tiki (black & tan boy)
Tiki went to live with Dianne Jamison and her mixture of other performance canines.  The Jamison paws whole heartedly welcomed this little squirt into their family of several Border Collies, a Sheltie and a Papillion.  One of the Border Collies, Gael, who has never displayed any desire to bond with another dog, could not resist this little spaniel who kept kissing her face.  They now clean each other's faces after meals.  Tiki gets a lot of exercise chasing after and being chased by his new siblings.  Tiki knows he has a big name to fill, so watch out for this fast little guy when he goes up.

Summer decided to stay home with mom and dad, who love her very much.  She gets to visit Tiki at agility class and plays a lot with Demi and Marlee.  She is as sweet as her mother and crazy as her father.

Currently Daisylane Cavaliers does not have any puppies available.  If you are interested in a puppy from Denzil, please check with us.  Our next Daisylane breeding will not be until sometime in 2008.  Please visit or call Wystar Cavaliers who have provided Daisylane with its foundation cavaliers who are healthy, well balanced cavaliers.
