KT's Lady Sasha, Always in Our Heart
I welcomed Sasha into my arms many years ago. She was a delight and my precious little girl. Sasha was a buff colored cocker spaniel and Persy's mother. She was extremely intelligent and was very cunning to get any food she could. Her endeavors always amazed us and she was as gentle and kind while maintaining the dominant canine position in the family.

Rocky Road, Our Faithful Guardian
Rocky, a German Shepherd dog, was rescued by us and became our protector and guardian. At first, we had a lot of socialization problems with Rocky. Rocky was fine with other dogs, loved Persy, maybe a little too much because he was always bothering Persy who would constantly bite Rocky's neck. Imagine a cocker spaniel hanging from the neck of a German Shepherd, who just stood there wagging his tail saying 'But I love you'.
Rocky had issues with men over 4 feet tall. He loved children, women were okay, but men were a problem. After a lot of training we were able to control Rocky and he became one of the most essential parts of our family. With Rocky around, we did not have to worry about anybody stealing a Cavalier from the yard.

Cricketeer Ivy Geranium CD, RE, NA, C-CD, C-RE, Our Matriarch
1/13/1998 - 11/1/2007
Daisy was my first Cavalier, entrusted to me by Joyce Smith of Cricketeer Cavaliers. I selected Daisy due to her pedigree of performance cavaliers. She is a pleasure and wonderful girl. As you have probably noticed, since Daisy is my first cavalier, her name was the foundation of Daisylane Cavaliers. It is to her that I owe the endearing cavalier love that is bestowed upon me everyday, in multitude now.
Daisy's performance career was cut short due to a back injury she incurred while playing and being the "Crazy Daisy" she is. I retired Daisy for a while due to this injury. With the gentle hands of Dr. Sue Ann Lesser, Canine Chiropractor, Daisy has recovered to enjoy life. She was restricted from doing any events that required her to jump too much like agility jumpers, but she enjoys going to dog shows and being the mascot. She has always had a very out-going personality, especially with children. She always enjoyed playing fetch and most of all being a cavalier with her new cavalier brother and sisters.
Due to progressiveness of MVD, Daisy's murmur increased from a grade two at 6 years of age to a grade four by 9 years of age. On Halloween 2007 Daisy spent her favorite holiday happily greeting the children at the door. It was great to see her enjoying herself. Unfortunately the next day, we lost Daisy to CHF (Congestive Heart Failure), which is a result of MVD. Daisy was only 9 years and 10 months, a life cut way too short by MVD.
We miss her dearly, especially at night when she would kiss me over and over again, just to make sure she got her hundred kisses a day quota in.

Sir Perseus CDX
Only Cavaliers approved by Persy, may join the family. This was how I first selected a Cavalier. Persy is a dominant male Cocker Spaniel who is not very friendly with other dogs. When I first started exploring other breeds beside Cocker Spaniels, I wanted to get away from all that grooming. One of the breeds I was considering was the Cavalier. Persy and I attended a Cavalier specialty so I could analyze his behavior. I was very surprise that he actually like the Cavaliers. So we joined the Cavalier club to receive more information about the breed and started talking with breeders. We soon welcomed our first cavalier, Daisy, to the family.
